PBP010: Uncovering the Infinite
Poison Boy returns with an update on some of the toxicology-related weirdness that has transpired throughout the known universe over the past couple of weeks. We begin in 1972 in a little boy’s room in New York listening to all the hits from WABC and then move quickly to Russian assasination and Toledo water bans. Poison Boy enlists the help of some of the Safety Rangers to discuss organophoshate poisoning as an occupational hazard among airline pilots and button battery ingestions. We discuss the intriguing but troubled new TV show THE KNICK and round out the podcast with a discussion of the week in tox history focusing on The Rolling Stones, the Mamas and the Poppas, 2 stories featuring Jerry Garcia and a rememberance of atomic REM.
