Yeah – I’m Pretty Sure Heidi Drank a Wee Bit More Than 3 V&L’s. Unless Those Were Really Big V&L’s.
I’m not sure why dying with a low blood alcohol level is somehow more virtuous than dying with an elevated blood alcohol level. Calculating how much alcohol was consumed from post-mortem blood samples is always a tricky thing. It’s an inexact science at best. But one thing you can be pretty sure of is that poor Heidi Hopley died from alcohol overdose. She stopped breathing because the alcohol in her brain decreased her capacity to sense low oxygen in her blood. That means she drank way more than 3 (standard) drinks or those 3 drinks were really, really big drinks.
